Joel played at Western Oklahoma State College and was drafted by the LA Dodgers. While his journey led him to the Dodgers' minor league system, Joel's dedication to the sport went beyond professional leagues. He also played with the independent Windy City Thunderbolts. Joel’s coaching philosophy focuses on developing velocity, command, and control on the mound.
