Bio

Prior to beginning his journey at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, David Londo, ATC, CSCS has been practicing as an athletic trainer since graduating, Spring 2017, with his athletic training bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point. Following graduation, David moved to Southern Florida, where he worked in a clinic while outreaching to a local high school; David and his beautiful wife enjoyed the rays of Florida for a year before striving for more education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). During his years at SIUE, David worked as an athletic trainer graduate assistant, for two years, while working on his masters in exercise physiology. After completing his masters degree, David was promoted to an assistant athletic trainer for SIUE, where his primary sports included: men’s soccer, softball, and men’s basketball. During his time at SIUE, David worked closely with the athletic performance staff, which allowed for a better understanding of a different perspective of this field. Therefore, David strived to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist, which he accomplished in the Fall of 2020. David is excited to join the IBJI team where he is able to implement his unique athletic training style and holistic viewpoints of treatment, while also learning from all parties of the IBJI team and implementing the new knowledge into his practice. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Mary, doing a number of different activities including hiking, cooking, and exploring and supporting local businesses. dlondo@ibji.com
